Music is what keeps me sane when the trees get too big. Here are a few musical projects I’ve recently been involved with:
- I’ve collaborated with Philadelphia-based composer and pianist Josh Snitzer. Check us out on Spotify.
- I’ve played for the University of Pennsylvania’s premier big band, Penn Jazz.
- In a previous life, I played guitar for the Cambridge-based funk outfit Soft Crunchy Landing. We sounded much better than our name.
When introducing myself in English, I pronounce my name as transcribed in the site banner. If you want to go full Greek, you can lose the aspiration, trill your rhotics and lower your vowels somewhat: it’s something like [le̞fˈte̞ris ˌpɐpɐˈrunɐs].
I hail from the tiny village of Ano Pedina, in the Zagori area of northwestern Greece.
